Elderlemon Design and its employees do not endorse or condone the content of the books for which we provide designs. In most cases, we work from design briefs or visual concepts provided by the client and thus, do not read the books themselves. While we try very hard to avoid associating with problematic material, our workload means it is not feasible to read every book we receive. That said, we do not condone racist, homophobic, transphobic, or hateful ideologies or content of any kind, and will not associate with any project deemed to promote hate. Should our designs inadvertently appear on books in which this type of messaging appears, we will make every effort to have those designs removed once the issue is brought to our attention.

Similarly, we are vehemently opposed to the use of generative AI, and should a stock art element we employ in our designs later prove to be AI due to false labeling on the source site, we will remove this element and/or provide a replacement design free of charge. We always have, and will continue, to support the work of real artists.
